The collaboration helps Google expand its enterprise customer base as businesses globally race to integrate generative AI tech into daily operations.
Google engineers will work directly alongside EQT’s internal AI transformation team, which currently features about 85 dedicated technology specialists.
Portfolio companies will also utilize Google Cloud’s extensive partner network, accessing over 330,000 consultants from firms like Deloitte and KPMG.
This partnership allows EQT-backed software developers to sell their own niche products directly on the Google Cloud online marketplace.
Google previously secured similar deployment deals with software-focused investment giants Vista Equity Partners and Thoma Bravo earlier this year.
Other major private market firms like Blackstone choose to collaborate with rival developers including OpenAI and Anthropic for distribution.
EQT executives believe the deal will effectively future-proof their management teams and increase global competitiveness in an AI-driven economy.
