Stray Kids: “Success is a powerful word”

K-Pop’s rising group Stray Kids, released their new album Karma without slowing down after their world tour. Releasing their second album in just one year, the group also released an EP, a 12-track mixtape, and appeared in the Deadpool & Wolverine film, as well as performing the soundtrack song Slash.

Despite all this busy schedule, Stray Kids became the fifth best-selling group in the world in 2024.

Playing two consecutive sold-out concerts at Tottenham Stadium in London made history in K-Pop.

The group members handle songwriting and production themselves. “The word ‘success’ is very powerful for us,” says leader Bang Chan. “We are just at the beginning of our journey and we want to achieve much more.”

The new album features Brazilian funk rhythms, pop-punk influences, and the standout track “Bleep.” The song is a bold response to the criticism.

Stray Kids also continue to strengthen their bond with their fanbase STAY. Their YouTube content, live streams from hotel rooms, and on-stage interactions make them not just a music group, but a phenomenon living with their fans.

With the album debuting at number one on the US charts, Stray Kids became the first group to have all seven of their first albums debut at number one. For them, this is just the beginning: “This game isn’t over, it’s just beginning,” says Felix.
