Ozzy Osbourne Documentary Announces New Release Date.

BBC has announced the release date for the documentary Coming Home, which chronicles the final years of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. Originally scheduled to be released on August 18th, the documentary was postponed at the family’s request.

The production, which was postponed shortly after the death of Black Sabbath’s legendary frontman Osbourne at the age of 76, will now be available on BBC One and iPlayer on October 2nd.

The one-hour documentary shows Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne’s return from Los Angeles to England, their struggle to perform at their farewell concert in Birmingham despite health problems, and the couple’s strong bond.

BBC documentary, Describing it as a “sincere and emotional portrait“, it emphasizes Osbourne’s character, who never accepted a “no” answer, and his heroic fight with the support of his family.

Also, the second documentary, Ozzy: No Escape From Now, which will be released on Paramount+ on October 7, will cover the artist’s six-year health struggle following his fall in 2019.
