Artificial intelligence firm Nscale, backed by Nvidia, reached a $14.6 billion valuation after securing $2 billion in a new Series C funding round.
The investment was led by Norway’s Aker and 8090 Industries, with participation from Nvidia, Citadel, Dell, and trading firm Jane Street.
The company also announced major leadership additions, including former Meta executives Nick Clegg and Sheryl Sandberg, along with former Yahoo president Susan Decker.
The new board appointments come as the company accelerates growth within the rapidly expanding global AI infrastructure sector.
Nscale is preparing for a potential initial public offering, having hired Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan as underwriters earlier this year.
However, the timeline for the listing has not yet been confirmed, according to sources familiar with the plans.
Founded in 2024, the company develops GPU-powered AI computing infrastructure, operating its own data centers, graphics processing units, and software platforms.
The fresh funding will support data center expansion to meet soaring demand for AI computing from major clients, including Microsoft and OpenAI.
