Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that in the inspections carried out in recent years, they reached 2 million employees in more than 12,000 workplaces. In a post on his social media account, he announced that they ensured the payment of 1.8 billion lira in worker wages and 710 million lira in public debts.

Stating that they meticulously carry out their inspection and audit duties in workplaces, Işıkhan said that through the Guidance and Inspection Directorate He stated that they carried out inspection activities with 900 labor inspectors in 2024. He announced that they reached 2 million employees in more than 12,000 workplaces and ensured the payment of 1.8 billion lira in employee wages and 710 million lira in public debts. He also stated that they imposed a total of 920 million lira in administrative fines on workplaces that did not rectify the violations of the legislation.
