Airbus delivered 71 aircraft in March, bringing the total for the first quarter to 136.

Airbus, the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer, announced that it delivered 71 aircraft in March. This brings the total number of deliveries in the first quarter of 2025 to 136. This figure represents a slight decrease compared to the 142 deliveries in the same period last year.

The company also received orders for 280 new aircraft. When cancellations are taken into account, the net order number is 204.

Airbus had previously stated that engine supply problems, particularly those stemming from CFM International, a joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran, would affect the first-quarter delivery figures. Some engine shipments were brought forward to the last quarter of the previous year to support the 2024 targets.

Despite these early restrictions, the European-based aviation giant is maintaining its target of delivering 820 aircraft by 2025.

As the aviation sector prepares for potential new trade tariffs that could impact raw material and critical component supplies, industry analysts continue to closely monitor Airbus’ delivery pace — as it is the company’s main source of revenue.
