Anthropic Valuation Hits $965 Billion to Beat OpenAI

The massive capital influx places the Claude chatbot creator ahead of primary rival OpenAI, which investors last valued at $852 billion in March.

The company’s market valuation has more than doubled since February, reflecting intense investor demand for a stake in frontier artificial intelligence developers.

Management confirmed that surging corporate adoption pushed the startup’s annualized run-rate revenue past the $47 billion mark earlier this month.

Investment bankers report that Anthropic is actively securing private funding while simultaneously preparing for a highly anticipated initial public offering.

Both major AI competitors plan to enter the public markets soon to secure the vast financial resources required for next-generation model training.

Anthropic currently faces immense infrastructure pressure, forcing the platform to implement strict usage limits during peak computational hours.

Prominent venture firms Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital led the blockbuster financing round alongside other major institutional investors.

Strategic hardware manufacturing partners Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix also joined the round to strengthen long-term supply chain integration.

The funding includes $15 billion from tech giants, cementation of a massive Amazon cloud technology partnership worth billions over the next decade.
