Tesla Spain Sales Jump 74% in February as EV Demand Accelerates

Tesla recorded a sharp rise in Spanish sales in February, underscoring strong electric vehicle demand across the country.

New registrations climbed 73.7% year-on-year to 1,595 vehicles, according to data released Monday by industry group ANFAC.

The surge reflects continued momentum for Tesla in one of Europe’s expanding EV markets.

Over the first two months of 2026, Tesla’s Spain sales increased 72.9% compared with the same period in 2025.

The growth outpaced the broader electrified vehicle segment, which includes fully electric models and hybrids.

Total sales of electrified vehicles in Spain rose 55.6% during the January–February period.

The figures highlight Tesla’s ability to capitalize on Spain’s accelerating shift toward low-emission mobility and expanding EV adoption.

As competition intensifies, Tesla’s sustained gains signal its strengthening foothold in the Spanish automotive market.
