The London Stock Exchange Group LSEG announced that it will deepen its move in the field of artificial intelligence and integrate its financial data and analytics into ChatGPT. The company also aims to expand the use of AI in financial markets by offering OpenAI’s enterprise tool to its employees.
As part of the integration, which will begin gradually in the second week of December, ChatGPT users with LSEG credentials will be able to access market data and news content from products such as Workspace and Financial Analytics directly from within the application.
This step strengthens LSEG’s strategic position in the race among financial institutions to adopt generative AI tools that can rapidly analyze large volumes of market data.The company stated that its AI-ready content will be delivered via Model Context Protocol (MCP). MCP acts as a universal converter providing a uniform and seamless connection between AI models with different tools and data sources.
