Argentina’s economy continued its upward trend in February, rising 5.7% year-on-year, according to official data. This marked the fourth consecutive year of growth for Latin America’s third-largest economy, signaling a gradual recovery.

On a monthly basis, Argentina’s economic activity increased by 0.8% in February. This marked the fifth consecutive monthly growth and was slightly higher than the 0.6% increase in January.
These latest figures come amidst the strict fiscal reforms implemented by President Javier Milei. Initially creating some difficulties, these reforms now appear to be laying the groundwork for the stabilization and gradual recovery of the Argentine economy.
